<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~LLS <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-36 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE 2005 SEAL COAT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills authorized thc prcparation of detailed plans and <br />specifications addressing the necessary requirements of the 2005 Seal Coat Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared specifications for the 2005 Seal Coat <br />Program Plan in the Edgewater Neighborhood, Ingerson & Hamline Neighborhood and Karth <br />Lake Neighborhood. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br />HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility <br />report. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered. <br />3. Plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer for such improvement pursuant to <br />Council resolution are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. <br />4. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans <br />and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 3 weeks, shall specify the <br />work to be done, shall state that bids will be considered by the Council at its regular <br />meeting June, 13"',2005, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by cash deposit, <br />cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent (10%) of <br />the amount of each bid. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council this 9'" day of May, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTE~ <br /> <br />rn- ~~ <br />Michelle A.
