<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING A VARIANCE FROM MINNESOTA RULES FOR STATE AID <br />OPERATIONS CHAPTER 8820 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills is preparing plans for TH 5 I <br />access improvements at the west end of Grey Fox Road to TH 5 I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Grey Fox Road is a Municipal State Aid roadway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills seeks a horizontal curve variance from Municipal <br />State Aid standards in accordance with Minnesota Rules 8820.9936 for the curve at the west end <br />of Grey Fox Road connecting to the TH 5 I access; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, State Aid Standards require a minimum 300' horizontal curve for 30 MPH, <br />the City of Arden Hills requests a variance for a 60' horizontal curve for 15 MPH; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed horizontal curve geometry matches the existing horizontal <br />curve geometry between Station 3+77.68 to 4+69. I I (TH 5 I ACCESS). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED: by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills hereby holds the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />harmless from any liability associated with granting of a horizontal curve variance for the curve <br />at the west end of Grey Fox Road connecting to the TH 51 access. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council this 27th day of June, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />'.'
