<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05-51 <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING AN ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE FROM STATE-AID RULE <br />8820.2800 SUBPART 2 FOR CITY PROJECT NO. 31809691 WITH STATE AID <br />PROJECT DESIGNATIONS OF S.A.P 187-105-03 AND 187-112-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills has approved the 2005 <br />Pavement Management Program Street Improvement Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said improvement project was designated with the following project <br />locations, termini and designated State Aid Project numbers: <br />. Red Fox Road (83+00 to 93+50) & Grey Fox Road (7+50 to 53+00), S.A.P 187- <br />105-OJ <br />. Dunlap Street (10+50 to 23+50), SAP 187-112-01 <br />. Red Fox Road (70+00 to 83+00) & Northwoods Drive, non-State Aid <br />participating <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 2005 Pavement Management Program would be financed partially with <br />State Aid funds thus requiring the plans to be prepared in accordance with State Aid rules; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills let bids prior to receiving final State-Aid approval <br />in order to minimize delay by the impending State shutdown and desire to minimize delay to <br />project schedule; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, State Aid Rule 8820.2800 subpart 2 states "only those projects for which <br />final plans are approved by the state-aid engineer before opening bids or approving a force <br />account agreement area eligible for state-aid construction funds". <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN <br />fiLLS, MINNESOTA, that the City of Arden Hills hereby requests an administrative variance <br />from State Aid Rule 8820.2800, Subpart 2. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council this 8th day of August, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />m~~ <br /> <br />Michelle Wolfe, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />
