Public Works Director / City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Final Payment to Ramsey County related to the roundabout project at Old <br />Snelling and County Rd E & the Mounds View High School Trail project <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />$1,897,000 $1,968,796.49 MSA, PIR, Water Fund, <br />($71,796.49 Over Budget) Sanitary Sewer Fund, SRTS, <br />State Bonding Bill <br />Council Should Consider <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br />• Payment to Ramsey County in the amount of $59,401.32 per the Cooperative <br />Agreement, PW2023-05, for the Construction Engineering fee and Construction <br />Costs related to the roundabout at Old Snelling Avenue North and County Rd E/Lake <br />Johanna Blvd project and the MVHS Trail on Lake Valentine Rd. <br />Background/Discussion <br />On January 9, 2023, the City Council entered into a Cooperative Agreement for Right -of -Way <br />acquisition and design, PUBW2022-23R. On January 8, 2024, the City Council entered into a <br />Cooperative and Maintenance Agreement, PUBW2023-05. These Agreements between the City <br />of Arden Hills and Ramsey County are for the reconstruction of the intersection of Old Snelling <br />Avenue North and County Road E/Lake Johanna Boulevard (Roundabout Project) and the <br />construction of Mounds View High School Trail (MVHS Trail) on Old Snelling Avenue (County <br />State Aid Highway 76) between County Rd E2 and Lake Valentine Road. <br />Attachment A is the Ramsey County invoice in the amount of $59,401.32 for the Construction <br />Engineering fee and Construction Costs related to the roundabout at Old Snelling Avenue North <br />and County Rd E/Lake Johanna Blvd project and the MVHS Trail on Lake Valentine Rd. <br />City staff has reviewed the invoices above and recommends the City Council approve payment <br />to Ramsey County accordingly. <br />Page l of 2 <br />
