To conserve and enhance protection of the Arsenal site's unique wildlife and plant <br />species, surface water and wetland resources, and other unique topographic features. <br /> <br />6. To ensure that if a north-south roadway is determined to be necessary for the successful <br />reuse of the Arsenal, then that roadway will be designed and constructed in an <br />ecologically sensitive manner and provide for adequate movement of wildlife through the <br />wildlife corridor. <br /> <br />Community Character and Identity: <br /> <br />I. To establish a distinct identity and character for the Arsenal site that reflects both the <br />importance of the property's history and the community's hopes for its future. <br /> <br />2. To establish and enforce a comprehensive set of design standards to ensure the full and <br />sustained realization ofthe desired image and character. <br /> <br />3. To extend the natural systems and vistas that exist within the AHATS site into the <br />redevelopment area through the Reuse Master Plan. <br /> <br />4. To exhibit superior urban design, landscaping and site planning and include a high level <br />of natural and man-made amenities in the reuse of the Arsenal with a primary emphasis <br />on the TCAAP Excess Property. <br /> <br />6 <br />
