<br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04-38 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE 2004 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT <br />PROGRAM THE EDGEW ATER NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon completion of a preliminary report, the City of Arden Hills <br />ordered the making of the 2004 Street Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills authorized the preparation of detailed plans <br />and specifications addressing the necessary requirements of the 2004 Pavement <br />Management Plan; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br />feasibility report. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered. <br />3. Plans and specifications prepared by City Engineer Greg Brown for such <br />improvement pursuant to Council resolution are hereby approved and shall be <br />filed with the City Clerk. <br />4. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 3 <br />weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be considered <br />by the Council at its regular meeting June 14, 2004, in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the <br />Clerk and accompanied by cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified <br />check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent (10%) of the amount of each bid. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council this loth day of May, 2004. <br /> <br />~~w~' <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />· ~~I~~RATOR <br />
