He
noted that Ms. Olson basically did all of the work on her own for this year's celebration
and commended her for a great job well done.
7. OTHER ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
None.
8. NEXT MEETING AGENDA
. Mr. Moore noted that normally the Park Committee does not meet in August and asked
the Committee if they would like to schedule a meeting as an update on HCM progress or
leave the month of August open. The Committee agreed that a meeting should be
scheduled in August to receive an update on HCM progress.
Mr. Moore noted the flooding issues with Valentine Park and asked the Committee to
consider whether they should spend money on new play structure and warming house,
keeping the ditch as is or should they fix the park first and then spend dollars on building
and equipment.
Committee Member Henry asked if Staff could compile a list of items that should be
done at Perry Park and provide for Committee review. Mr. Moore stated that he would
prepare the list and have it ready for the August meeting.
.
