'It <br /> QEEN_HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2026-011 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> COMMERCE FOR A SOLAR APP+ INCENTIVE <br /> WHEREAS the Minnesota legislature established the SolarAPP+ Solar Permitting <br /> Software Incentive in 2024 (Minn. Stat. § 216C.48); and <br /> WHEREAS the purpose of this incentive is to help streamline the residential solar <br /> permitting process by providing financial incentives and technical support for local governments <br /> adopting the free, web-based SolarApp+ online solar permitting platform developed by the <br /> National Renewable Energy Laboratory; and <br /> WHEREAS the City has identified a project within the City that meets the SolarAPP+ <br /> incentive program purposes and criteria and is consistent with and promotes the purposes of the <br /> Legislation and program guidelines; and <br /> WHEREAS the City has the institutional,managerial, and financial capability to ensure <br /> adequate project and grant administration; and <br /> WHEREAS the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations <br /> as stated in the contract grant agreements; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arden <br /> Hills authorizes the Community Development Director or their designee to submit an application <br /> for the SolarAPP+permitting incentive in the amount of up to $20,000. <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 9TH <br /> DAY OF MARCH 2O26. <br /> BY <br /> DAVID GRANT,MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> JU HANSON,CITY CLERK <br /> To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche Weblink by visiting <br /> cityofardenhills.org and clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage. <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
