42
Appendix D: Meander Species Change Over Initial Management Year
D.1.a. Hazelnut, September 18, 2024 D.1.b. Hazelnut, July 11, 2025
D.2.a. Floral, September 18, 2024 D.2.b. Floral, July 11, 2025
D.3.a. Chatham, September 18, 2024 D.3.b. Chatham, July 11, 2025
Figures D.1 through D.3 - Composite Invasive Species Abundance (CISA) by Percent Native Vegetation (%PNV) -
Figure shows along the y-axis the amount of the site that is covered by invasive species, with the x-axis showing the percentage
of the site inhabited by native vegetation. The placement of the dot indicates the quality of the site with sites in the upper left
being worse off than those in the bottom right. Both sites where contract work has been conducted showed reduced invasive
species presence, mostly attributable to decreased buckthorn density. Although, Chatham’s invasive coverage qualitatively
increased, likely due to different survey times and surveyors. Notably, all sites had negligible changes in %PNV.
