Perry Park Site Inspection Notes <br />Mike Christofore, Lucas Miller, Jess Skalicky <br />Monday, October 13, 2025 <br />Hockey Rink <br />x The hockey rink is currently in fair-to-okay condition. It was recently painted. The <br />rink is beginning to fail: some boards are loose and wiggly, and the bottom boards <br />are starting to rot. Replacement isn’t immediately necessary, but planning for future <br />repairs is required. <br />x The metal supports for the boards are rusting. Some discussion was made about <br />replacing boards as needed versus regrading and installing a completely new rink. <br />x Ideally, the rink would be rebuilt, regraded, and installed with new boards. <br />x Lighting: The rink lighting could be upgraded to LED. Currently, lights are manually <br />operated via a breaker by rink attendants; they are not on timers. <br />Trees and Vegetation <br />x Behind the warming house, several decaying trees are a maintenance hazard. An <br />assessment is needed to determine if some should be removed. <br />x Behind Field 3, along the fence line, most trees are dead, diseased, or dying. <br />Branches frequently hit the fence, causing damage. Removing these trees would <br />æôIJôƱťϙæĺťēϙŕÍŘħϙıÍĖIJťôIJÍIJèôϙÍIJîϙIJôÍŘæƅϙēĺıôĺſIJôŘŜϟ <br />x FĖīīŜϙæôēĖIJîϙťēôϙæÍīīƱôīîŜϙÍŘôϙŕŘĖŽÍèƅϙēĖīīŜϠϙŜťôôŕϙċĺŘϙıÍèēĖIJôŘƅϙæŪťϙıÍĖIJťÍĖIJÍæīôϟϙ <br />Originally, these were set at a 2:1 pitch grade when the park was built. It would be <br />nice if they weren’t so steep and if it was mowable. <br />x "ôÍîϙĺŘϙŜIJÍŕŕôîϙťŘôôŜϙæôēĖIJîϙĺŪťƱôīîŜϙÍIJîϙēĺèħôƅϙŘĖIJħŜϙIJôôîϙèīôÍŘĖIJČϟϙ“ēôƅϙÍŘôIJЍťϙ <br />immediate hazards but should be addressed eventually. <br />Fields and Drainage <br />x Field 3 and the north side of the park require regrading due to drainage issues.
