2026 Annual Calendar <br /> <br />January <br />Annual Work Plan Draft <br />Develop a draft of the Annual Work Plan outlining priorities, projects, and goals for the <br />upcoming year. <br /> <br />Adopt-a-Park <br />Review the updated informational documents about the City’s Adopt-a-Park, Adopt-a- <br />Trail, Adopt-a-Garden, and Adopt-a-Spot program. Give feedback before final <br />presentation to City Council for approval. <br /> <br />February <br />Recreation Annual Report <br />Assess the yearly report on recreation programs and participation rates. Use this <br />information to give feedback on new program ideas and opportunities for improvement. <br /> <br />Finalize PTRC Annual Work Plan <br />Review and refine the PTRC Annual Work Plan draft with the Commission before <br />presenting it for final Council approval. <br /> <br />March <br />Public Works Maintenance Plan <br />Evaluate the annual maintenance schedule and priorities set by Public Works for parks and <br />trails. Offer input on maintenance priorities, planting plans, and recommend park <br />improvements to include in the plan. <br /> <br />April <br />Current Year Parks CIP <br />Review the current Capital Improvement Plan to monitor active projects, budgets, and <br />timelines. Provide feedback to ensure projects align with community needs and Commission <br />priorities. <br /> <br />May <br />Park System Plan Updates <br />Review the new Park System Plan and give final feedback and recommendations before it <br />is accepted and adopted by council.
