<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />ST A TE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-26 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A FINAL ALTERNATIVE URBAN AREA-WIDE <br />REVIEW DOCUMENT AND MITIGATION PLAN FOR THE GUIDANT CAMPUS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 9, 2002, the City Council approved resolution #02-42, <br />authorizing that an Alternative Urban Areawide Review ("AUAR") be initiated and completed <br />for the Guidant Campus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 30' 2002, the City of Arden Hills held a public informational <br />meeting to obtain public comments on the dTaft AUAR environmental analysis document; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October ]5, 2002, the City of Arden Hills prepared and distributed a <br />draft AUAR environmental analysis document on the Guidant Campus in accordance with <br />Minnesota Environmental Quality Board Environmental Review Program procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 30-day public review and comment period on the draft AUAR <br />environmental analysis document ended on November 13, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 4, 2002, Guidant Corporation submitted a master plan for <br />development of the Guidant Campus to the City of Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills revised the draft AUAR environmental analysis <br />document based on the September 4, 2002, master plan submittal and the comments received <br />during the comment period on the draft AUAR environmental analysis document; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised AUAR environmental analysis document includes a plan for <br />mitigation specifying the mitigation measures that will be imposed upon further development <br />within the study area in order to avoid or mitigate potential environmental impacts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 27' 2003, the City of Arden Hills distributed the final AUAR <br />environmental analysis document and mitigation plan for the Guidant Campus in accordance <br />with Minnesota Environmental Quality Board Environmental Review Program procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no objections to the final AUAR environmental analysis document and <br />mitigation plan were filed with the City of Arden Hills within the time limit prescribed by state <br />law, <br />
