<br />. <br /> <br />~ <br />~ILLS <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Resolution 03-65 <br /> <br />A Resolution Approviug a Joint Agreement for the Financing, Operations and Use of the <br />Ramsey County Publie Works/Partners Facility <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has an identified need for a new operations and <br />maintenance facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is currently constructing a maintenance facility on a <br />portion of the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, both the City of Arden Hills and the Mounds View School District have <br />indicated an interest in partuering with Ramsey County to collocate similar facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council convened the Maintenance Facility Taskforce to evaluate <br />the possibility of a joint partnership with the Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after reviewing all pertinent infonnation, the Maintenance Facility <br />Taskforce unanimously recommended "that Council proceed with partnering with Ramsey <br />County on the matter of a joint public works facility as an equity partner with the plans as <br />currently drafted;" and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 30th, 2003, the Arden Hills City Council adopted Resolution No. <br />03-50, a resolution approving participation in the Ramsey County Joint Maintenance Facility; ; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA" authorizes execution of the agreement attached as Exhibit A, <br />entitled "A Joint Agreement for the Financing, Operations, and Use of the Ramsey County <br />Public Works / Partners Facility.
