ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MARCH 9, 2026 7 <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Monson moved and Councilmember Holdren seconded a <br /> motion to approve the January 31, 2026, Special City Council Work Session <br /> meeting minutes as presented, the February 9, 2026, Special Executive Closed <br /> Session meeting minutes as presented,the February 9,2026,City Council Work <br /> Session meeting minutes as amended; and the February 9, 2026, Regular City <br /> Council meeting minutes as amended. <br /> Councilmember Weber asked if the City Attorney had reviewed the amendment to the February <br /> 9 City Council minutes. He stated it was his understanding that the City Council should not be <br /> amending other people's words. He recommended the change to the City Attorney's comment not <br /> be made to the minutes unless this was done at staff s request. <br /> City Attorney Land indicated she had not had a chance to review the change to the minutes. She <br /> anticipated the change would be fine but noted the Council could opt to postpone action on this set <br /> of minutes to the next City Council meeting, if desired. <br /> Councilmember Weber inquired if the change to the minutes was done at staff s request or at the <br /> request of a Councilmember. <br /> CityAdministrator Ja oe reported staff does o back and listen to the meetings and an language <br /> g P g g Y <br /> added was per the conversation that occurred. <br /> Councilmember Weber stated he could support the City Council approving the minutes if the <br /> Council supported staff adding language to the minutes. <br /> Councilmember Holden questioned if Councilmembers were allowed to change other people's <br /> comments. <br /> Assistant to the City Administrator/City Clerk Hanson explained the policy was when there <br /> was a requested change to the minutes from a Councilmember, she will go back and watch the <br /> meeting to verify exactly what was said. <br /> The motion carried (5-0). <br /> 8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> A. Motion to Approve Consent Agenda Item- Claims and Payroll <br /> B. Motion to Approve Resolution 2026-008 Approving a Minnesota Department of <br /> Labor and Industry Plumbing Plan Review Agreement <br /> C. Motion to Approve COBRA Administration Agreement with Benefits Extra <br /> D. Motion to Acknowledge the Application of Ducks Unlimited North Suburban <br /> Chapter 239 for an Exempt Permit to Conduct a Raffle with the Event being April <br /> 11, 2026, with No Waiting Period <br /> E. Motion to Acknowledge the Application of Fishing for Life for an Exempt Permit <br /> to Conduct a Raffle with the Event being May 18, 2026, with No Waiting Period <br /> F. Motion to Approve Termination of Building Official <br /> G. Motion to Approve Hiring of Building Official <br /> H. Motion to Authorize Recruitment of Building& Code Enforcement Inspector <br />
