Resolution of Karth Lake Improvement District Board <br />Resolved on January 13, 2026 at KLID Board Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />Now therefore be it resolved by the Karth Lake Improvement District Board that: <br /> <br />1. The City implement the pump improvements as proposed by the City Engineer and <br />described as “Option 2” within the 2026 PMP Feasibility Report for an estimated cost of <br />$185,000. <br /> <br />2. The residents on the lake pay for 50% of the as-bid construction costs through <br />assessments proportional to each property’s tax value over the tax years of 2027, 2028 <br />& 2029. <br /> <br />Providing: <br /> <br />1. The City will finance the initial costs so the pump improvements can be <br />constructed as part of the 2026 PMP. <br />2. Any Rice Creek Watershed District grant funding is used to lower the <br />cost-share amount between the City and KLID. <br />3. The City will cover any indirect costs and overhead costs related to the pump <br />improvements. <br />4. The City will continue to cover the cost of operating the pump, installing it in the spring, <br />removing it in the fall and storing it. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Joel Gerich <br />Chair, Karth Lake Improvement District Board
