ADOPT=A=PARK <br />PREMIER PARTNER <br />Premier Partners commit to long-term park care and stewardship through their park adoption. <br />mod' ' + . art�� "' ` • �T� . 771 L , • <br />+7 • <br />{ } r • '• •� <br />i + AM <br />� kft <br />ov <br />WHO THIS TIER IS BEST FOR: <br />• Civic organizations looking for a meaningful, long-term, intensive service project. <br />• Garden clubs, faith communities, and service clubs with an active volunteer base. <br />• Any group excited about taking a highly active, hands-on role in caring for a park. <br />WHAT PREMIER PARTNERS DO: <br />• Create, organize, and run a volunteer park stewardship program at their chosen park. <br />Like all Adopt -a -Park participants, groups are solely responsible for recruiting, <br />onboarding, and scheduling volunteers. <br />• Park -wide litter pickup during each visit, multiple times per week. <br />• Routine garden maintenance, including planting, weeding, and deadheading. <br />• Present any large-scale gardening or park maintenance projects to the Parks and <br />Recreation Department for coordination and approval. <br />TIME COMMITMENT: <br />• 1-3 visits per week during the spring and summer months (April -October). <br />• Each visit typically lasts 1-3 hours, depending on park size. <br />RECOGNITION AND SUPPORT: <br />• Receive elevated recognition for their increased commitment, which may include: <br />o A sign placed at the adopted park. <br />o Acknowledgment on the City website or volunteer page. <br />• One newsletter article and one social media post per year highlighting their <br />commitment and stewardship at the adopted park. <br />o Invitations to volunteer appreciation events. <br />
