<br /> Joint Development Authority <br />TCAAP Redevelopment Project <br />Joint Development Authority <br />TCAAP Redevelopment Project <br />AGENDA ITEM 8b <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: April 29, 2026 <br /> <br />TO: Joint Development Authority Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />FROM: Katie Lauer and Sara Swenson, Goff Public <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Review Communications Report <br /> <br />Goff Public worked with Ramsey County on a communications and media relations strategy to support <br />the LEED for Communities precertification announcement in April 2026. The announcement included a <br />press release, interview with the Pioneer Press and social media content for Ramsey County’s LinkedIn, <br />Facebook, Instagram and X platforms. The Pioneer Press (Rice Creek Commons in Arden Hills awarded <br />LEED precertification), Finance & Commerce (Arden Hills project precertified for LEED Platinum), and <br />ENTER (Platinum Recognition for Rice Creek Commons) have covered the announcement so far. <br />Goff Public also worked with Ramsey County to prepare the spring Rice Creek Commons newsletter <br />which will be sent out at the end of April or early May. The newsletter will include information on the <br />LEED for Communities precertification, the 2025 JDA annual report, Micro Control Companies’ upcoming <br />move into their building at Outlot A and an update on Rice Creek Boulevard construction. <br />Goff Public has started initial work to capture updated drone footage – photos and videos – of Rice <br />Creek Commons this summer or fall. This new footage would replace existing content on file from 2016, <br />allowing for updated images of the site to be used in future communications materials. <br />There have been two recent inquiries through the Rice Creek Commons microsite contact portal <br />regarding housing availability and water service at the site.
