CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Henry called the September 28,2005 meeting of the Parks, Trails and Recreation <br /> Committee to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Bill Henry, Committee Members Jim Crassweller, Dave <br /> McClung, Rich Straumann, and Roger Williams. <br /> OTHERS PRESENT: Tom Moore, Operations and Maintenance Director; Michelle Olson, <br /> Parks and Recreation Supervisor; Gregg Larson, City Council Liaison; and Bonita Sullivan, <br /> Recording Secretary. <br /> MEMBERS NOT PRESENT: Committee Members Lanny Baumarm, Derrek Hames, Joani <br /> . Werner, Cindy Wheeler, and Steve Zilmer. <br /> APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Chair Henry noted that the Buckthorn removal is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2005 at <br /> Cummings Park from 9:00 a.m. to noon. He stated that a breakfast is planned, similar to the <br /> concept of the annual flower-planting event, which is going to be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Holiday <br /> Inn. <br /> Mr. Moore noted that the Buckthorn removal includes both Cummings Park and Crepeau Nature <br /> Preserve. <br /> The Agenda was approved by consensus. <br /> 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> . Approve the June 28, 2005 Minutes. <br /> MOTION: Committee Member Williams motioned, seconded by Committee Member <br /> Crassweller to approve the June 28, 2005 minutes as presented.
