Shoreview Segment - the land within this segment is zoned Open <br /> Space (OS), a classification assigned to identify those properties <br /> under the jurisdiction of the Ramsey County Board of <br /> Commissioners which are being developed, maintained, operated or <br /> otherwise controlled for recreation and natural resource preservation <br /> purposes. <br /> b. Arden Hills Segment - the land within this segment is zoned Single <br /> Family Residential (R-1), a zoning district designated for single- <br /> family detached dwellings, and Limited Industrial (1-2), a zoning <br /> district designated for industrial uses (type and intensity) that will not <br /> distract from the surrounding area. <br /> c. New Brighton-Mounds View Segment - the land within New Brighton <br /> portion of the segment is zoned Single Family Residential (R-1), a <br /> classification assigned to all public parkland in New Brighton, and <br /> the land within the Mounds View portion of the segment is zoned . <br /> Conservancy, Recreation and Preservation (CRP), a zoning <br /> classification assigned to identify land designated for major <br /> recreational use facilities and/or are unsuitable for other <br /> development and will significantly contribute to the preservation and <br /> enhancement of the environment. <br /> 2. Adjacent Zoning <br /> a. Shoreview Segment - the land north and west of this segment is <br /> zoned Mobile Home Residential (R-4) and Urban Underdeveloped <br /> District (UND) which includes the vacated University of Minnesota <br /> airport site currently used by a radio controlled airplane club, a <br /> Minnesota Highway Department materials storage area, a <br /> terminated University of Minnesota hospital landfill. The land east <br /> and south of the segment is zoned Single Family Residential (R-1) <br /> and Planned Unit Development (PUD) which include single family <br /> residential homesites. <br /> b. Arden Hills Segment - the land adjacent to the north side of this <br /> segment is zoned Open Space (OS) and includes the Shoreview <br /> segment of the corridor. The land east and south of the segment is <br /> zoned Single Family Residential (R-1) and includes Twin Cities Army <br /> Ammunition Plant munitions manufacturing and storage buildings. . <br /> The land west of this segment is zoned Limited Industrial (1-1) and <br /> includes a row of vacant single family houses formerly used to house <br /> VI-32 <br />
