Variance <br /> The Planning Commission has recommended approval of Planning Case #98-19, <br /> for a five foot side yard setback variance for the detached garage addition (four <br /> feet proposed, when ten feet is required) based on findings and subject to <br /> conditions. <br /> c. Resolution #98-48. Lake Josephine Ordinance - <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-48, Ordering a public hearing <br /> in the matter of an Ordinance and Joint Powers Agreement with the City of <br /> Roseville regarding surface water use on Lake Josephine. The Public Safety <br /> Commission has been working with the City of Roseville and the Lake Josephine <br /> Improvement Association to prepare an ordinance for the Lake. All parties are in <br /> agreement with the Ordinance as drafted. The Public Hearing would be scheduled <br /> for August 10, 1998. <br /> d. Resolution #98-49. Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Grant <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98.49, Supporting ajoint grant <br /> application for the neighborhood commons project under the Metropolitan . <br /> Livable Communities Act. This application would be ajoint application with the <br /> cities of Roseville and New Brighton for the County Road D corridor. The intent <br /> is to seek funds to assist with the joint redevelopment of the areas adjacent to this <br /> corridor. The intent is for this project to have no direct cost to the city other than <br /> staff time. <br /> e. Final Pav Estimate. Lametti & Sons. Trail Culvert <br /> The City Council is asked to authorize payment to in the amount of$12,675 to <br /> Lametti & Sons for the final payment related to the trail culvert work near <br /> Cummings Park. <br /> f. Pay Estimate #5. Lametti & Sons. 14'h Street Improvements <br /> The City Council is asked to authorize payment in the amount of $150,474.55 <br /> to Lametti & Sons for Pay Estimate #5 related to the improvements of 14'h Street <br /> Northeast. The total payments made to date on this project are $775,389.96. <br /> g. Pav Estimate #1. T.A. Schifskv & Sons. 1998 Street Improvements <br /> The City Council is asked to authorize payment in the amount of$181,642.32 <br /> to T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. for the 1998 street improvement project. <br /> . <br /> --------- <br />
