<br /> UNFINISHED BUSINESS – 5B <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br />DATE: March 24, 2026 <br /> <br />TO: Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee <br /> <br />FROM: Jess Skalicky, Parks and Recreation Manager <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Parks System Plan – Final Version <br /> <br /> <br />Requested Action <br />Recommend that the City Council approve the Park System Plan. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />On April 14, 2025, the City Council approved a professional services agreement with Bolton & <br />Menk to complete the Park System Master Plan. The project began in May 2025 and has since <br />included three Steering Committee meetings, two community engagement events, one <br />community open house, and one online community survey. The previous draft version was <br />shared with the PTRC at the February meeting.
