<br /> OrlJndo Eight bids had proper bid guarantees in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total
<br /> Phoenix bid as required by the Project Manual. Midwest Asphalt submitted a bid with a 5%
<br /> PortJ,lnd guarantee. A bid tabulation was performed to verify the total bid amounts. Four bids
<br /> San Dkgo contained errors as tabulated above. T.A. Schifsky's corrected bid amount is
<br /> Seatt!!;;' $5,542.00 greater than their original bid however they remain in position as the low
<br /> bidder. A copy of the bid tabulation is attached for your information.
<br /> The corrected low bid amount is approximately 6% below the Engineer's Estimate
<br /> which is reflective of a competitive bidding environment.
