City Issues - Short Term <br /> a. Hwy. 96/Hwy. 10 Traffic Study <br /> The City Council, at its January 5, 1998 Council meeting, directed the City <br /> engineer to evaluate alternative configurations of the Highway 96 and Highway <br /> 10 interchange. The engineer has completed this study and will be in attendance <br /> to present it to the City Council. The City Council should be prepared to give <br /> direction on the design alternatives. <br /> b. Assessments, 1998 Street Improvement Project <br /> e 1. Interest Rate <br /> Staff will provide information related to the rate of interest to be charged <br /> on assessments. <br /> 2. Altern ative Roll <br /> Staff will provide alternative assessment rolls based on the direction of the <br /> City Council. <br /> 3. Unusual Lots <br /> The City engineer may have information available for discussion on any <br /> unique lot configurations or situations that have been identified. <br /> c. Retreat Review - Plannin~ with Budr:et Considerations, etc. <br /> Staff may have information available, or questions, as a result of the City <br /> CounciVDepartment head Retreat, which affect 1999 Budget considerations. <br /> d. City Hall <br /> The Architectural Alliance may be in attendance to review the preliminary <br /> building design and cost estimates. <br /> e.
