Pm\'TIshoo. "Pawnshoo" means the location at which or oremises in which a nawnbroker <br /> reQ"ularlv conducts business. <br /> ill. tB9: Person. Any individual, tirm, partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock <br /> association or body politic; includes any trustee. receiver. assignee or other similar <br /> representative thereof. <br /> 112. -t-t&. Personal services. Services customarily rendered for compensation. Such services shall only <br /> involve minor storage and related sales of products and supplies related to the service offered and <br /> for customers ordinarily utilizing the service offered. Typical personal services include but are <br /> not limited to: apparel tailoring and cleaning; hair styling, trimming and cutting; beauty services; <br /> photographic services; and other services of a similar nature. <br /> 113. +1+. Planned Unit Development (p.U.D.). The development of a tract of land in a unified manner. . <br /> pursuant to a development plan spec1fically approved by the city. <br /> ill.,. tH-: Planning Commission. The planning agency of Arden Hills as prescribed in Minnesota Statutes <br /> Chapter 462.354. It is advisory to the City Council on all matters related to the Comprehensive <br /> Plan and all official controls that implement the Comprehensive Plan, and all other matters <br /> referred to it by the City Council. <br /> 115. tH-: Public use. The use of any lot. parcel of land and any structure or building thereon exclusively <br /> for public purposes by any department or branch of government, federal, state, county or city, <br /> excluding independent school districts. without reference to the ownership of said lot, parcel of <br /> land, building or structure. <br /> 116. H<I-:- Public waters. Means a body of water capable of substantial beneficial public use. This shall <br /> be construed to mean, for the purposes of these regulations, any body of water which has the <br /> potential to support any type of recreational pursuit or water supply purpose. A body of water <br /> created by a private user where there was no previous shoreland, as dermed herein, for a <br /> designated private use authorized by the commissioner of natural resources, shall be exempt. <br /> 117. tt5: Railroad right-of-way. A strip of land with tracks and auxiliary facilities for track operation. <br /> but not including depots, loading platforms. station, train sheds, warehouses. car shops, car <br /> yards, locomotive shops or water towers. <br /> 118. -H6-: Recreation, commercial. Recreational facilities which are operated for protit or render a <br /> service which is customarily considered as a business. <br /> 119. -H't:- Recreation, residential. Play apparatus such as swing sets and slides, sandboxes, poles for . <br /> nets, picnic tables, lawn chairs. barbecue stands. and similar equipment or structures, when used <br /> on residential property, but not including electronic towers, tree houses, swinuning pools, <br /> playhouses exceeding twenty-five (25) square feet of floor area, or sheds utilized for storage of <br /> equipment. <br /> ------ <br />
