--.--.....----
bf- \i'h:t fa 1
RECEIVED .
MAR 26 1998
ary G? Hiww i1iLLS
March 25, 1998
To: The Mayor and Members of the Arden Hills City Council
Re: Assessment Hearing on 1998 Street Improvements
I have thoroughly inspected Edgewater Avenue from New Brighton Rd to the
cul-de-sac and I find no potholes and therefore no reason for such a major
project as is being considered.
I am retired and I cannot afford the proposed assessment as is the situation
for many of my neighbors.
I find the proposed assessment totally out of line as well as unnecessary. I
would support a layer of asphalt which should suffice to improve the street. .
;
I find no justification for the extremely high price being proposed for this
project and strongly object to the members of the city council even
considering subjecting me and my neighbors to such an unfair assessment.
I am writing this letter on the advice of my attorney and hope that it will be
given serious consideration.
Respectfully Submitted,
{doA,''---L \-~<J~,-
Alan E. Nielsen
1895 Edgewater Avenue
Arden Hills, MN 55112
Retired from the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office (patrol Division) as well as
previously being a part of the Arden Hills Police Department.
.
