S. West is proposing to add to the tower located at
1550 Oak Avenue will be erected at an elevation of under 100 feet. We will be
removing several larger antennas at elevations as high as 685 feet simultaneously
with the install of U. S. West's antennas. As you can see from viewing the tower,
the antennas attached to the tower at various elevations are barely noticeable 10 the
e casual observer. This will be true also of the U. S. West antennas. they will be
clustered at the lower level almost exactly (but smaller) as was the U. S. West
cellular installation that was on the tower at approximately that level from 1985
through 1989. I would expect that most peDple didn't notice when those antenna's
were installed or when they were removed.
The low profile portable central processing unit will occupy a relatively
small space inside the existing fenced in area surrounding the tower building and
,
will be very unobtrusive, -similar in size to an on ground air conditioning unit.
We speak in favor of approval of this application.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter and for your past
considerations.
e
-
