MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: May 12, 1998 <br />" <br /> TO: Brian Fritzsinger <br /> V~. <br /> FROM: Dwayne Stafford <br /> SUBJECT: 1997 Street Improvement Project, Final Payment <br /> Backrround <br /> The City of Arden Hills awarded Valley Paving Inc., of Brooklyn Park, MN the 1997 Street <br /> Improvement Project on April 29, 1997. Their project bid was $383.143.75. Due to less than <br /> anticipated quantities, the final costs for the project totaled 5370,990.08. <br /> Previous payments totaling $365,558.03 have been made to date. The City withheld $5,432.05 <br /> ofthe final payment request last December until required documents were provided to the City <br /> and remaining punch list items were corrected. <br /> These issues have now been addressed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director. <br />.
