COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-47 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING LOCAL PERFORMANCE AID <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 477A.05, provide for Local Performance Aid; and <br /> WHEREAS, in order to qualify for this aid, the City must develop a system of performance <br /> measures in compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 477 A.05; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has qualified for aid in 1997 and 1998 without having a system of <br /> performance measures in place; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City believes it has the ability to identify a specific program for which <br /> performance measures can be developed, monitored, and reported; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City would propose that the Local Performance Aid be used to determine the <br /> effectiveness of city communication efforts with residents; and <br />. WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills would like to qualifY for Local Performance Aid. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br /> Minnesota, that the City intends to implement a system of performance measures; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City supports the completion of the Certificate of <br /> Local Performance Measures lor Local Performance Aid Payable in 1999 and that this document <br /> be torwarded to the appropriare state agency. <br /> PASSED .~'j) ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITI' OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ON THIS 29TH :9AY OF J1.'N~ 1998. <br /> DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> ATfEST: <br /> BRIAN FRITS INGER, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />. <br />
