Planning Case 98-18, Dorsey & Whitney, SUP (revocation), 1200 & 1210 W. County <br /> Road E <br /> Request. The applicant on behalf of the owners of the buildings at 1200 and 1210 West <br /> County Road E request that an existing Special Use Permit be revoked (Exhibit A). <br /> Background. In Planning Case 89-07 the applicant Farmers Insurance Group (a tenant of <br /> the building) requested approval of an antenna on top of the building. Farmers Insurance <br /> Group no longer is a tenant in the building and the antenna left with the tenant. To clean up <br /> . the title of the property (SUP's are recorded) the applicant on behalf of the owners <br /> (Northpark Commercial Properties Limited Partnership) is requesting that the SUP be <br /> revoked. <br /> Deadline for Agency Actions. The City of Arden Hills received the complete application <br /> for this request on May 26, 1998. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute the City must act on <br /> this request by Friday, July 25, 1998 (60 days), unless the City provides the petitioner with <br /> written reasons for an additional 60 day review period. The additional review period would <br /> extend to Wednesday, September 23, 1998. The City may with the petitioners consent <br /> extend the review period beyond the Wednesday, September 23, 1998, date. <br /> The Staff notified the applicant in writing that the City would be acting on this request <br /> . ' beyond the original 60 day review period. <br /> Lastly, if the City denies the petitioners request, "... it must state in writing the reasons for <br /> the denial at the time that it denies the request." <br /> Recommendation. The Planning Commission at their July 12, 1998, meeting recommended <br /> approval of Planning Case 98-18, which revokes the Special Use Permit for 1200 & 1210 <br /> West County Road E which was originally granted as part of Planning Case 89-07. <br /> Updates.
