We are presenting the previously submitted spreadsheet and our <br /> project diary for Gateway Center from the beginning of the job through May 15th 1998, <br /> Some diary entries for a job called American Express have also been included as the . <br /> loading and material costs are relevant to this project <br /> As discussed in previous conversations the basis upon which this project was <br /> priced was lump sum. The soils correction pricing was included in this price, Because the <br /> quantity of soils correction was included in the lump sum price we were not required to <br /> keep accurate record of the correction unless it was more than the bid quantity, We have <br /> not attempted to arrive at an exact quantity of soil correction as this would be extremely <br /> difficult at this time. <br /> Our records sbow a considerable amount more soil correction tban was included <br /> initially, This extra soils correction bas been submitted to Welsb Construction for <br /> inclusion into our contract All required soil correction was done at tbe discretion of the <br /> soils engineer. <br /> We also submitted to you billing from a subcontractor for trucking off-site of <br /> unsuitable materials, Tbis bill included a larger quantity of material tban we claimed on <br /> our spreadsbeet because some oftbe material trucked off-site was not considered soil <br /> correction. Also tbis subcontractor unit price billing was less tban the unit price shown on <br /> the spreadsheet as we did add our own overhead to tbe spreadsbeet price. <br /> In addition to tbe subcontractor bill for tbe removal of unsuitable material we also <br /> submitted to you our own truck tickets sbowing the trucking off from tbe site of . <br /> ., <br /> , <br /> , <br /> I -- -- <br />
