SEPTEMBER 14,1998 <br /> 7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CAU, TO ORDERfROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dennis Probst called to order the regular <br /> City Council meeting at 7:35 p,m. <br /> Present: Mayor Dennis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, Susan Keim, <br /> Gregg Larson and Paul Malone. <br /> Absent: None. <br /> Also present were Assistant to the City Administrator, Kevin Ringwald; City <br /> Administrator, Brian Fritsinger; City Accountant, Terrance Post; Public Works Director, <br /> Dwayne Stafford; Community Development Director, Cindy Walsh; Associate Planner, <br /> Nancy Randall; Consulting Engineer, Gregory Brown, BRW, rnc,; and Recording <br /> Secretary, Lori Rolfson. <br /> ADOPT AGENDA. <br /> . Mr. Fritsinger noted an addition to the agenda, Item 5e, 3171 and 3183 North Lexington Avenue <br /> updatc. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Malone moved and Councilmember Keirn seconded a motion to <br /> adopt the agenda for the September 14, 1998, regular City Council meeting as <br /> amended, The motion carried unanimously (5-0), <br /> CONSENT CA.LEi'lllAR <br /> A, Claims and Payroll <br /> B. Authorization to Adl'Crtise for Bids for the Purchase of a Generator <br /> C Proclamation, City Employee, Cynthia Walsh <br /> It was suggested to move item C. undcr Unfinished and New Business as Item Sf. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Kcim movcd and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a motion <br /> to approve the Conscnt Calendar as amcnded and authorize execution of all <br /> necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (5-0), <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Probst invited those present to come forward and address the Council on any items not <br /> . already on the agenda. <br /> Mr. Steve Nixon, 1369 Forest Lane, stated he is doing his best to comply with the rebuilding of <br /> his home. The building plans are in but things are being held up by the financing, He found out <br /> last week the insurance company had paid off his mortgage so he has applied for a construction <br />
