Actions to be taken by the County Warning Officer for situations not involving an <br /> immediate threat to public safety: <br /> A Contact the CIty Emergency Management DIrector, or other appropnate local <br /> government official, for instructions. <br /> B. NotifY Ramsey County Warning Point of the situation. <br /> IV. Testing Procedures <br /> A. State policy is that counties and municipalities test their public warning systems <br />. at 1300 hours (1 :00 pm.) the first Wednesday of each month. Counties and <br /> mUTIlclpahtles are encouraged to make advance announcements of each test <br /> through local radio, television, and newspapers. (Ref: Minnesota Emergency <br /> Plan, Part E, App, 6, Attachment 2), <br /> B. At 1:00 p.m, the first Wednesday of each month the State Warning Point will <br /> test the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area Siren System, The Arden Hills Public <br /> Warning System will be tested in the following manner: <br /> L Sound the (test) alert signal. This is a steady tone for a period of one (]) <br /> minute. <br /> - Wait one minute - <br /> 2. Sound the (test) attack warning signal. This is a wailing tone on the <br /> siren for a period of one (1) minute <br /> V. I n the event of a natural or man-made disaster the general public is advised to contact <br /> local law enforcement agencies for information regardi ne missing persons, emergencv <br /> services, restricted areas and other pertinent informatIon, <br />e <br />
