Approval of Minutes The City Council is asked to approve the Minutes of the October 26,1998 Regular Council Meeting, and the November 5, 1998 Special Council Meeting. 2. Consent Calendar a. Claims and Payroll The City Council is asked to approve vendor claims in the amount of $410,429.29, and payroll for period most recently ended. The Council should note payment to 1. A. Schi fsky and Sons in the amount of $200,616.99 for Pay e Estimate #3; to Wayne Johnson, Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department in the amount of$151,293 for 1998 Minnesota State Fire Aid; and to BRW in the amount ofSI4,085.40 for engineering services. b. Authorization, 1999 Audit Engagement Agrcement The City Council is asked to authorize staff to execute the audit engagement letter with Abdo, Abdo, Eick and Meyers for the audit of general purpose financial statements of the City of Arden Hills of and for the year ended December 31, 1998. The fee for this year's audit is 57,995. c. .\ssistant to the City' Administrator, Employment Status The City Council is asked to approve the appointment of Kevin Ringwald as a ' regular employee of the City, based upon the completion of his probationary period. d. Award Demolition Contrati, Old City Hall. 1450 West HighwaY' 96 The City Council is ask cd to award the demolition contract to Ray Anderson & Sons Companies, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $ 11,700 for the demolition of thc building located at 1450 West Highway 96. e ------
