CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: November 30,1998 <br /> TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> . <br /> FROM: Kevin Ringwald, Assistant to the City Administrator k <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution #98-70, Easement Vacation - Planning Case 98-17 <br /> Request <br /> The applicant (John McClung) is requesting that the City Council approve Resolution #98-70, <br /> which would vacate a part of a drainage and utility easement on Outlot A of McClung First <br /> Addition (Exhibit A). <br /> Backl!round <br /> The Property Owner (John McClung) requested, as part of Planning Case 98-17, to vacate a <br /> portion ofthe Drainage and Utility Easement, as described in Exhibit A, which encumbers this <br /> property. The Planning Commission at its July 1, 1998, regular meeting conducted a public <br />. hearing on the matter and recommended approval of said vacation to facilitate development on <br /> said property, The City Council at its August 31,1998, regular meeting approved said vacation <br /> to facilitate development on said property, <br /> Recommendation <br /> The Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution #98-70, vacating a part of the <br /> drainage and utility easement described on Exhibit A, <br />. <br />
