<br /> . <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS .- <br /> -_-.0- ,--.COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> - _o____ <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> - -- - --------" ",. ..--------------------- <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-78 <br /> REVISING WATER UTILITY RATES <br /> EFFECTIVE JANUARY I, 1999 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council established a policy to review water rates on an armual basis; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council last took action on its water utility rates in 1994; and <br /> WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the utility cost structure and has recommended that the <br /> Arden Hills City Council increase water utility rates; and <br /> WHEREAS, this review has determined that the rate increase is necessary to enable the utility to <br /> remain self-supporting. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that, <br /> effective January I, 1999, water utility rates be revised as follows: <br /> Current Rate Revised Rate . <br /> Service Descri.ption Per Ouarter Per Ouarter <br /> Residential 5/8" or 3/4" minimum quarterly charge $21.95 $21.95 <br /> Rate per 1,000 gallons of water <br /> - Winter 2,09 2.15 <br /> - Sununer 2.14 2,20 <br /> The standby rates will not be increased. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> THIS 14'h DAY OF DECEMBER, 1998. <br /> DENNIS PROBST, MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> BRIAN FRITSINGER, CITY ADMINISTRATOR . <br />
