CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: December 10, 1998 <br /> TO: Brian Fritsinger, City Administ~ <br /> FROM: Terrance Post, City Accountant 111 <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution #98-75, Claritying Final Sums of Money to be Levied for <br /> Levy Year 1998, Payable in 1999 <br /> Background <br /> The City Council has spent many meetings in 1998 reviewing and preparing the budget for 1999. <br /> On December 7, 1998, the City Council held its Truth in Taxation Hearing to review the <br /> proposed budget and levy. <br /> After the completion of this hearing, the City Council indicated that it was comfortable with the <br /> proposed levy, which represents a 3,20% increase over the payable 1998 levy. <br /> . Recommendation <br /> The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #98-75, claritying final sums of money to be <br /> levied for levy year 1998, payable in 1999, <br /> . <br />
