e

e

e

CITY OF ARDEN HILLS

MEMORANDUM

DATE:

December 29, 1998

TO:

City Council 1:\, \
Dennis Probst, Ma~

City Appointments - 1999

FROM:

SUBJECT:

ReQuested Action
The City Council is asked to consider the following appointments for calendar year 1999.

Background
Each Councilmember received a copy of my suggested changes in Committee Liaisons for 1999
as part of last week's non-agenda packet. As a result, I have not included those appointments as
part of this memorandum.

Historically, we have also appointed members to each ofthe various committees at this time. I
expect that the committees and their membership will be discussed in greater length as part of
this year's retreat and again, I have not included any details for future committee membership.
The one exception is the Planning commission, which is a requirement of State and Municipal
Code.

There are no other significant changes to the appointment list this year. After discussing these
other appointments with the City Administrator, I believe they are appropriate.

Miscellaneous Appointments

A. Professional Consultants
1.
