<br />Preliminary construction cost estimates have been prepared for the maintenance issues identified
<br />in this report and are listed in Summary Table 1.1 "Identified Drainage Issues", Costs listed
<br />in table I assume that the work would be performed by a contractor and that several jobs would
<br />be combined into each contract in order to economize overhead costs and mobilization. A few of
<br />the minor jobs would best be accomplished by City forces as time permits which would likely
<br />result in some savings to the City over the estimated costs shown in the table, The work could
<br />also be included in future street reconstruction projects in order to save contractor mobilization
<br />costs,
<br />
<br />A preliminary breakdown of the cost estimates shown in Table 1.1 for the McClung Drive,
<br />Siems Court and Karth Lake problem areas are shown below, Costs shown below and in Table
<br />1.1 include a 10% contingency cost and 26% for administrative costs, Administrative costs
<br />include engineering, planning, legal, fiscal and City staff expenses,
