<br />Section 510 - Intoxicating Liquors

<br />510.01 Licenses.
<br />
<br />Subd. 1 Required. No person, except wholesalers or manufacturers to the extent
<br />
<br />authorized under state license, shall directly or indirectly deal in, sell or keep for sale any
<br />
<br />intoxicating liquor without fIrst having received a license to do so as provided in this
<br />
<br />Subsection. Licenses shall be of four (4) kinds: "On-sale," "on-sale wine," "off-sale," and
<br />
<br />"club" licenses. A special "Sunday Sales" license shall be required for the on-sale of liquor
<br />
<br />on Sundays.
<br />
<br />Subd. 2 Classification.
<br />
<br />A. "On-sale" licenses shall be issued only to hotels, clubs, restaurants, and
<br />
<br />exclusive liquor stores and shall permit on-sales of liquor only. The Council may,
<br />
<br />in its discretion" grant on-sale licenses to the maximum number permitted by the
<br />
<br />laws of the State of Minnesota.
