Mr. Post stated that this was correct. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. August 9, 1999 Regular Council Meeting <br />B. August 16,1999 Council Worksession <br /> <br />With regard to the August 9, 1999 minutes, Councilmember Rem stated that the fIrst paragraph <br />under item H on page 10 needed clarification as it appeared as though some information was <br />missing. Councilmember Malone suggested the fIrst sentence of this paragraph be revised to <br />read, "Mr. Fritsinger stated that the City's Building Inspector, Dave Scherbel, believed that the <br />City's current Building Code still required significant changes as a result of..." <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting minutes of the August 9, 1999 Regular Council <br />Meeting, as amended, and the August 16, 1999 Council Worksession, as <br />submitted. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />Regular Employee Status, Pam Sweeney, Receptionist <br />Ramsey County, Cooperative Agreement, Cleveland A venue Bridge Reconstruction <br /> <br />With regard to item C of the Consent Calendar, Councilmember Malone noted that the cost <br />estimates for reconstruction of the Cleveland Avenue bridge was far less than he had anticipated. <br />Mr. Stafford stated the original estimate of the City's cost participation had been approximately <br />$48,000 and this has been revised to approximately $26,000. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Rem seconded a motion to <br />approve the Consent Calendar and authorize execution of all necessary documents <br />contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Probst invited those present to come forward and address the Council on any items not <br />already on the agenda.
