Trip generation - The number of vehicle trips that will be generated by the proposed
project are estimated using standard rates for similar land uses,
. Trip distribution - The geographic origins and destinations of site generated traffic are
estimated based on the roadway system and patterns of development in the metropolitan
area.
. Traffic assignment - The site generated traffic is assigned to the street system in
accordance with the trip distribution and added to background traffic to estimate future
traffic volumes.
. Intersection analysis - The future traffic volume forecasts are analyzed to determine
intersection level of service.

WISP ARK Rice Creek Corporate Park
Draft EIS

December 10. 1998
Page 64

I
-I
.
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
el
I
1
I

e
