<br />e <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN lULLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />January 29, 1999 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Nancy Randall, Employment Statns <br /> <br />Background <br />Ms. Randall was initially hired on July 27, 1998 as Associate Planner for the City of Arden Hills. <br />Chapter 19, Arden Hills Code, requires that employees complete a six (6) month prohationary <br />period in order to determine whether or not the employee demonstrates fitness for the position. <br /> <br />Under Section 19-6 (c) of Municipal Code, the City Council shall consider the recommendation <br />of the City Administrator or Department Head as to whether the employee should or should not <br />be made a regular employee. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff would recommend the City Council approve the appointment of Ms. Randall as a regular, <br />full-time employee with the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />BF/sls <br /> <br />M:\PRIV A TEIEV ALUA Tl\randmemo.wpd <br />
