The work shall be completed within one hundred and <br />twenty-five (125) calendar days as stated in the project specifications. All work for the West RoUnd <br />Lake Road Improvements, Phase 1 shall be completed by August 14, 1999. Excess topsoil from the <br />stockpile may be stored in the northwest section of the site. The Contractor shall have until <br />December 31, 1999 to remove all excavated topsoil from the project site. The landscaping and tree <br />planting are subject to MnDOT requirements and planting dates and may extend beyond the August <br />14,1999 date. <br /> <br />The contractor shall be responsible for Liquidated Damages in the amount of $500.00 per each <br />calendar day that the work is not complete, beyond August 14, 1999. <br /> <br />B. The contract shall be modified to reflect a reduction in the topsoil removal price from $1.60/m3 to <br />$0.00/m3.
