<br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Chapter 2 Administration <br /> <br />C. Compensation. Each member of the advisory committee shall serve without <br /> <br />compensation. <br /> <br />D. Officers. The mayor shall be the chairperson of the committee, and the director shall <br /> <br />serve as its secretary. <br /> <br />E. Advisory Body. The committee shall advise the director and the City Council on all <br />matters pertaining to civil defense. <br /> <br />Subd. 8 Volunteers. <br /> <br />A. Recruitment. The civil defense director shall, in cooperation with existing City <br /> <br />departments and agencies affected, organize, recruit, and train air raid wardens, auxiliary <br /> <br />police, auxiliary fIrefighters, emergency medical personnel, and other personnel that may <br /> <br />be required on a volunteer basis to carry out the Civil Defense Plans of the City and the <br /> <br />state. To the extent that such emergency personnel are recruited to augment a regular <br /> <br />City department or agency for civil defense emergencies, they shall be assigned to such <br /> <br />departments or agencies as needed for the purposes of administration and command. The <br /> <br />director may dismiss any civil defense volunteer at any time and require him or her to <br /> <br />surrender any equipment and identification furnished by the City. <br /> <br />B. Loyalty.
