Presbvterian Homes Bond Issue <br /> <br />a. Res. #99-19. Preliminary Approval of Bond. Presbyterian Homes <br />The City Council is asked to adopt Resolution #99-19, Reciting a proposal for a <br />Housing Finance Program to finance an elderly housing development project, giving <br />preliminary approval to the project and the issuance of Revenue Bonds pursuant to <br />Minnesota Law, and ratifying the preparation of a Housing Finance Program. The <br />adoption of this resolution will allow Presbyterian Homes to continue to proceed with <br />their efforts to issue bonds for a variety of projects. Due to some changes in the <br />program, the [mal approval for this project is not expected to come before the Conncil <br />for 4-8 weeks. <br /> <br />Public Information Medin!!, Hil!hwav 96 Reconstruction <br />Jim Tolaas, Ramsey County Public Works, will be in attendance to present the latest <br />design for the Highway 96 and Highway 10 improvements. Ramsey County is seeking <br />Council approval of the preliminary design so that the County can begin work on the <br />final design of the project. The County has sent notices to approximately 400 individuals <br />potentially impacted by the proj ect. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />The City Council is asked to approve the Minutes of the June 14, 1999 regular City <br />Council meeting and the June 21, 1999 City Council Worksession. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Consent Calendar <br /> <br />a. Claims and Pavroll <br />The City Council is asked to approve vendor claims in the amount of$297,167.55, <br />and payroll for the period most recently ended. The Council should note payment to <br />Forest Lake Construction in the amount of$123,367.27 for Pay Estimate #2; to Lake <br />Johanna Volunteer Fire Department in the amount of $42,498.39 for third quarter fire <br />protection services; to MCES in the amount of$37,050.68 for July sewer charges; <br />and to Ramsey County Property Records in the amount of $52,929.34 for June law <br />enforcement services. <br />
