<br />City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Chapter 3 Licenses and Regulations <br /> <br />microorganisms. <br /> <br />J. Sauna. "Sauna" shall mean and includes a steam bath or heat bathing room used for the <br /> <br />purpose of bathing, relaxation or reducing, utilizing steam or hot air as a cleaning, <br /> <br />relaxing or reducing agent. <br /> <br />K. Sauna Parlor. "Sauna Parlor" shall means an establishment advertising, offering, or <br /> <br />selling sauna to or for members of the public or a private club for a fee, regardless of <br /> <br />whether other goods or services are also simultaneously advertised, offered or sold, and <br /> <br />regardless of whether those other goods or services are also required to be licensed. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Licenses Required. <br /> <br />A. Business License. No person shall operate, directly or indirectly, upon any pretense <br /> <br />or by any device within the City any sauna, rap or massage parlor, for which any charge <br /> <br />or fee is made or any money or thing of value is solicited or received, without being <br /> <br /> <br />licensed therefor by the City pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter. A license must be <br /> <br /> <br />obtained for the place of business at which the sauna, rap or massage parlor business is <br /> <br /> <br />to be operated. A license is not transferable to any other person or premises.
