City of Arden Hills Chapter 1 Code Introduction 120.03 General Penalty. Subd. 1 Misdemeanor. Whenever in this Code or in any ordinance of the City an act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense or a misdemeanor, or whenever in this Code or ordinance the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, and no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any such provision or the failure to perform any such act shall be punished by a fine ef-flet c:xccediflg f.i.c lffil'larcd dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment l\6t te execcd ninety (90j dll)s or both stleh fiHC lIHd irnprisenment iH the diJerc:tion ef the eourt. in an amount or fora pi:@clOftime; (Jr bOtll, not to exceed the maximum penalty allowable under State law for a misdemeanor. Subd. 2 Petty Misdemeanor. The imposition of a penalty under the provisions of this Code shall not prevent the revocation or suspension of any license, franchise or permit issued or granted under the provisions of this Code.
