The new types require less <br />maintenance and are safer to work on, as nearly all repairs can be accomplished from above ground. <br />CURRENTSTATUS~ROJECTEDSCHEDULE <br />The oldest lift station was converted in 1996, and we anticipate programming one conversion every <br />two years, depending on their specific age and condition. Lift Station #3 was completed in early <br />1999. <br />RELATIONSHIP TO EXISTING PLANS AND OTHER PROGRAMS <br />Part of the update plan for the entire sewer infrastructure. <br />
