Experienced Team: Our team members, particularly Bill Weber and Suzanne Rhees, have prepared similar zoning regulations in the past. In addition, our team consists of senior members ofBRW who have extensive experience in planning and designing downtowns, civic areas, commercial areas, residential neighborhoods and transit station areas. . Related Experience: BR W has worked with many public- or private-sector clients to take multi-use developments from the planning stage through design and actual construction. Several of our recent projects, such as the Northern Brooklyn Park Master Plan or the Downtown Wayzata Design Guidelines, included elements very similar to the Civic Center Area zoning ordinance. . Project Understanding: We have researched the planning that led to this request for proposals and reviewed the situation with City staff so that we believe we have a good understanding of your needs. . Project Approach: Our project approach involves a close collaboration with City staff, several public meeting with City elected or appointed officials, coordination with prior planning decisions, effective use of graphics to communicate regulatory concepts, and a clear understanding of key decision points. .
