MINUTES <br />CITV OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (EDA) <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />AUGUST 9, 1999 <br />7:25 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDERlROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, President Dennis Probst called to order the <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) meeting at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />President Dennis Probst, Commissioners Beverly Aplikowski, Gregg <br />Larson, Paul Malone and Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Also present were SecretarylTreasurer, Brian Fritsinger; Controller, Terrance Post; and <br />Recording Secretary, Sheila Stowell. <br /> <br />ADOPT AGENDA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Malone moved and Commissioner Aplikowski seconded a motion <br />to adopt the agenda for the August 9, 1999, Special Meeting of the Economic <br />Development Authority. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. March 8, 1999 Special Meeting <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Larson moved and Commissioner Aplikowski seconded a motion <br />to approve the minutes for the March 8, 1999 Special Meeting of the Economic <br />Development Authority (EDA), as submitted. The motion carried nnanimously <br />(5-0). <br /> <br />UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Res. #EDA99-01. Resolution Makin!!: Temporary Chan!!:es to the Or!!:anizational <br />Structure <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger briefly reviewed temporary appointments recommended to the Economic <br />Development Authority's organizational structure. These temporary appointments were made <br />necessary by the resignation ofMr. Fritsinger as City Administrator, and Mr. Ringwald's <br />resignation as Assistant to the City Administrator and his former role as Community <br />. Development Director. The current by-laws state that the City Administrator serves as the <br />
